  • Atrox factory

Atrox factory is my favourite haunted house

  • Fun, but not very scary

I took my 8 and 10 year old little girls and was hoping to make them cry and give them nightmares. They did more laughing than screaming. It was our first time. It was way over priced. They had some great elaborate scary sets but many of the actors really seemed disconnected from the scenes. They more less walk around, got in your face as if to say " look at me I am scary". With such elaborate and great sets they could of had some scary music and basic acting to draw the audience into the scenes. The great haunts of today use acting, special effects and music which make you feel like you are in a real horror film. Atrox fell very short and failed the scaring an 8 year old little girl test.

  • Hands down the BEST!!

Atrox is the best haunted house in Alabama...been in business for over 10 years and still all of the money goes to charities! It gets bigger each year!

  • Kinda boring...

Nice stuff but it just didn't feel like a haunted house to me. Maybe next time.

  • By far the best haunted house in America!

I make it a point to travel the country visiting haunted houses in search of the best ones. ATROX FACTORY is by far the best one I've been to!! The most realistic haunt I've ever been in, you'll forget your in a haunted house!

  • Best in central Alabama

The only downside to Atrox is the wait. The set up is awesome, the scares good, fx outstanding. You spend extra at Arx Mortis, Atrox, and Disturbia but compared to the crap low budget trails it's worth the extra cash. We go to get scared and see cool stuff, not to feel like we might get hurt at low budget wood, and Atrox is fun AND safe. Liked it enough we are going back before Halloween. Great haunt!

  • You can't deny history

The history of the guys who started Atrox Factory is one of the best in the south. They started with nothing at Slain Manor and became the single best overall haunted event in the state. They still are the very best of what Alabama has to offer each haunted season as an event. Their haunt has been lacking for some time now because they have so much other stuff going on such as celebrity guests and such, but the haunt is definitely still among the best. You can see some really cool stuff and at times it is scary, just not as scary as it used to be. I wish these guys would focus a little more on scaring and creeping us out and a little less on the celebrities. Yes horror celebs are cool but I miss my old school Slain / Atrox thing. These guys destroy their Alabama big 3 competition in Sloss and Disturbia and are capable of one day being as big a deal as Atlanta's Netherworld but we want more scary. Well worth your time and money but if you want to be scared or creeped out try some of the smaller folks. If you want just a good overall experience Atrox can't be beat.

  • OK for entertainment (and deafening noises)

I went through not knowing what to expect and I was somewhat entertained but the experience was kind of irritating and ruined by some parts due to a few factors: 1) this dripping crap on me was not enjoyable 2) I came home with red (fake blood I assume) on my watch and clothes. Don't wear good clothes to this. 3) the guy with the fake gun, stop doing that next to people's ears! Wear ear plugs if you don't want to have your ear ringing for 30 minutes. literally less than a foot from my head. And don't tell me that is an effect, it is loud enough 5 feet away. 4) and if you don't stop touching people, you might get sued. It was OK, and better than 3 years ago, but it still wasn't overly impressive.

  • Great haunted house!

This haunt is the real deal. You have a huge waiting area with lots going on to entertain you while waiting to get inside. The haunt is more fun than scary but you get your money's worth and the FX are amazing! It is also the safest haunt to go to in the Bham area, there is another big haunt and a few small ones that have issues with being safe but Atrox shines here. Best haunt in the area
