Ghosts have been reported in buildings across Dwight Mill Village, including the apparition of an old woman who has been spotted in several different houses. Photos taken in the village sometimes show floating orbs, and disembodied noises have been heard as well. The town was originally built by the Dwight Manufacturing Company to house workers for its cotton mill.

  • clayton and Dwight in front of clayton cemetery

I lived on Clayton Ave which the end of that street enters the black creek walking trail my houses was located in front of the graveyard and it was back in 2006 til 2012 that me and my children experienced paranormal activity there my we always said he seen a person he called mudman and the television would cut off every night and bk then it was the older television that u had to push in the knob to power it we had a lot of experiences there. I also am very spiritually aware and seems now since I responded and try to show respect or acknowledge the presence it's seem to increased activity in the amount of spirits that come to me because I assuming since they know that I can see and hear the things they do they all need or want something unfinished business I plan to go investigate other places also

  • Grew up on Dwight Avenue

I lived for 10 years on Dwight Avenue as a kid (4 years old to 14) and my house definitely had something going on as did many of those homes in the Mill Village. From random shapes, opening doors, footsteps from things unseen, the Mill Village has a rich history but I am positive even a lot of bad things which happened back there in those years gone by. The home directly across from me on Dwight was very run down. Someone moved out and when they did during the day and even at night you would hear someone in there yelling but we all knew it was empty. If you want some good historical sites to see though these old homes have been there for over a hundred years or more (the one I lived in was built in 1891) and at times it is almost like you walked back in time.

It would be amazing if someone would come and truly investigate the home n property that are real n not novices and others have seen n felt things here as well not just us living here
