This historic 1836 building currently operates as a bed and breakfast, providing guests with warm beds and hot meals. Those accommodations must be rather appealing, as some of the guests have never checked out! Visitors have reported hearing voices when no one else is around and feeling an unusual presence on the second floor. Some have also told of slamming doors, shaking beds, and lights that flicker on and off.

I never believed haunted houses were real until I stayed at this inn last weekend! We heard loud nosies when there shouldn't have been, clicking noises in the room, what sounded like a shoe fall hard on the floor, and heard keys jingle and sort of scratch at the doorknob of a locked room. We stayed on the second floor of the house next to the parking area. We also had a bathroom cabinet door at the top open that we couldn't reach even if we tried. We both felt as if something touched us in the bathroom. We were so excited when the lady at the check in desk told us we had the whole house to ourselves. But now we're just freaked out!

Stayed here on 2 separate occasions, our first visit was uneventful, but the second visit was interesting. Our first night we heard voices in the courtyard and noone was around, it was very foggy, cold and rainy so who would be around. The coffee pot cut on by itself twice then wouldn't work at all. We have video of the lights flickering on and off in the room.

stayed there for a few days this week, its a lovely place, the only scary thing about the inn, is the horrible selection of beer in the honor bar.
