Though the building has not been used as a mortuary for some time, the old Westumpka Mortuary seems to still be a hotbed for the dead. The building's lights have been known to mysteriously flicker on and off, and passersby have heard screams coming out from the building. Similar incidents have also been reported in some of the nearby buildings.
