Fort Conde Inn - Real Mobile Haunt
- 165 St Emanuel St
- Mobile, AL
This historic 1836 building currently operates as a bed and breakfast, providing guests with warm beds and hot meals. Those accommodations must be rather appealing, as some of the guests have never checked out! Visitors have reported hearing voices when no one else is around and feeling an unusual presence on the second floor. Some have also told of slamming doors, shaking beds, and lights that flicker on and off.

Stayed here on 2 separate occasions, our first visit was uneventful, but the second visit was interesting. Our first night we heard voices in the courtyard and noone was around, it was very foggy, cold and rainy so who would be around. The coffee pot cut on by itself twice then wouldn't work at all. We have video of the lights flickering on and off in the room.Posted 9/26/20

stayed there for a few days this week, its a lovely place, the only scary thing about the inn, is the horrible selection of beer in the honor bar.Posted 8/25/17
