Woodland Hospital - Real Cullman Haunt
- 1910 Cherokee Ave SW
- Cullman, AL
Woodlands Hospital, now known as The Sanctuary at the Woodlands, is currently an inpatient psychiatric facility designed for adult and geriatric patients run by USA Healthcare. Past employees have told tales of a ghost named Homer who is known to roam the halls. According to their stories, Homer likes to flush the toilets or turn the ice machines on, and will sometimes brush past people, leaving them with a chilled feeling. Patients and staff alike have reported seeing a dark form moving through the halls.

my great grandmother worked there
My great grandmother worked there in the 80’s and she said the rumors about Homer are true. He would flush the toilets and turn the ice machine on, she said she’d even seen him roaming the halls one night. Posted 10/3/18
