It is said that during the 1930s and '40s several black people were viciously attacked and hanged by members of the KKK on Gwodz Road. Since then passersby have reported some strange occurrences, including the sounds of laughter and screaming. Supposedly if you stop your car underneath one of the limbs from which the hangings took place and turn it off you will hear scratches on the vehicle's roof, and it will also begin to shake.
