It really wasn’t all that special, got maybe one or two genuine responses on the emf reader but no strange sounds or occurrences, still not sure if the place is actually haunted.

When I was a young girl around 5 or 6, we were there cutting grass and just cleaning it up a bit. There were a bunch of us my grandma was telling me about Wiley Hodges being my great grandfather. He died in the 50’s a little before I was born. My aunts were off doing their part. When we were in the car I asked who the woman was with the red lipstick on and black dress.Now since they were all weeding and raking and stuff none of them were dressed up. No make up and yard work clothes on. My grandmother asked me who I was talking about. I explained again what she looked like and that she was along the tree line. She would stand up and walk around that area then stop and kneel down again. almost like she had lost something. They brushed me off with no explanation. A couple of years later I saw her standing the bedroom putting on lipstick and combing her hair. Again they gave no explanation. Fast forward 50 or so years my mother and I were talking about it and the lady I described was one of my grandmothers sisters that had been murdered well before either she or I were born. She said she was in old Dora Ala. at a party and that a man shot her. Mother said that my great grandparents heard her screaming at their house. Ran down there and she was alive screaming kneeling on the floor, then she died. Her name was Nellie Hodges.

In 2008 me and few buddies went and we heard a little girl scream and we ran to the trucks and when we got into trucks both of them quit at same time..... never been back

I am part of Haunted Echoes Paranormal Society, we went to Hodges last night and experienced a strange noise in the woods by the exit road as well as a strange purplish light, and my wife (who was in the car) heard tapping on the windshield. I have been several times and have verified most of the claims of the haunting at this cemetery, have yet to see the dog tho

So I didn’t see nothing at 1st but it was definitely creepy in the woods in the middle of nowhere we me and my husband started to leave there were hand prints on our jeep

Is this really open to everyone who is willing to visit or do you have to have permission to enter it? And if so who do I need to get in touch with about visiting Hodges Cemetery?
