Lovelady Bridge
Camp Hill, AL 36850
A bridge overlooking train tracks, Lovelady Bridge is said to be the site of a tragic accident in which a young, pregnant woman lost her life. If you visit at night you may be able to hear the woman crying. It has also been said that woman was actually no longer pregnant, but that both she and her newborn died in the accident all the same. According to this same rumor, if you stand in the middle of the bridge and chant "Lovelady, Lovelady, I got your baby" three times the woman's spirit will appear and walk toward you from one end of the bridge, looking for her child.
